This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a high poverty school where several of the students receive free or reduced price lunches, and 100% receive free breakfast.
Even though my second grade students have many obstacles that make learning more difficult, I always have high expectations that they will grow and learn.
School is a safe and happy place for my students. Each day they come into the classroom excited about the day and spending time exploring and learning together! For many of my students, being at school is the best part of their day.
My Project
With the 3Doodler Bundle we are requesting, we will be on our way to learning about 3-D creations for less than the cost of a regular 3-D printer. This bundle comes with 12 pens and is packed with accessories, plastic refills, and teaching aids. The 3Doodler EDU Bundles are the ideal complement for STEAM subjects, whether engineering, math, or design. These pens do what a 3-D printer can do, without the wait and heat. These pens will provide hours of on-task time as students explore ways to take plastic and make something beautiful and unique. My students deserve to experience new technology so they can see the variety of ways technology can enhance their lives.
