This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach second grade and we try to teach writing in a variety of ways to help the students improve handwriting and spelling skills. We use play doh, paint, and sand to practice making and spelling letters and words.

The doodle pads would be an engaging way for students to practice writing letters and words.

As they are writing it is making the letters into different colors to make it multisensory. The students would really enjoy seeing the letters and words transformed into different colors. Therefore, helping them to remember the words and letters they are writing better!
