My Project

As an Early Literacy Specialist, I work with students in grades K-3. Many students struggle with small motor skills and forming letters correctly. Often times students that struggle with handwriting have a more difficult time getting their thought down on paper because the formation of letter writing is a challenge.

Through encouragement & fun doodles, students will learn how to form letters correctly.

The Doodles for Handwriting books support students with these skills by using creative doodles for each letter.

I will use these materials in a small group setting so that students are able to get one-on-one instructional support and positive reinforcement.
