My Students

Discovery and Creativity, it is what kindergarten is all about. I have a class full of active and excited learners as they embark on their first school year. Every day my students come to school ready to work hard.

Despite their circumstances and backgrounds, my students love coming to school to see their friends, play and work together.

They enjoy reading, working at centers and sharing ideas at morning meetings. We have cultivated a family climate that creates a safe and welcoming feel for everyone.

My Project

My students will greatly benefit from the Osmo classroom kit for centers by working independently to enhance their math and reading skill. My students will use the Tangram pieces to create pictures that match the Osmo screen. They will use the alphabet pieces to create words, have relays with other students and practice letter sounds. My students will use the number pieces to create numbers and develop addition and subtraction skills.

The Osmo kit enhances the learning experience for children through interactive pieces including Tangrams, letters and numbers.

The Osmo station will be utilized as an extension activity for early finishers and a reteach station for others.
