This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our Mustangs are resilient and adaptable learners. In my first year at this school, I witnessed students finding innovative ways to learn in a hybrid format. So many new things are being asked of them, and I am continually inspired to do my best to support them.

My students shine, through Zoom and in-person, and they make themselves known!

As their librarian, I see every student in the school from PreK to 5th grade, and I have loved having the opportunity to get to know them all, even under these nontraditional circumstances.

My Project

We love bringing students new library books and eye-catching displays every year, but waiting for them to be ready is no fun!

You can help our library purchase supplies to liven up our library space and get books in students' hands sooner!

We are so lucky to be able to purchase beautiful new books for the library, but sometimes students have long waits for these books to be processed. A Dymo Label Maker will allow us to process books more quickly to be ready for checkout and smiling young readers!
