it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My current group of 6th grade resource math students are brilliant! They simply require additional time, a smaller setting, lots of scaffolding and visuals! We can never have enough visuals! Our district is really encouraging us to increase and improve our math talks in our classrooms! While my students love to talk, it would help guide their conversations if they had some additional visually attractive and colorful supports in the classroom that could help them.
With these simple items, they will not only increase their talking about math but they will also increase their independence!
