Don't Read Like a Robot!

My Students

The school I am teaching in is in an urban area. The students in my school are extremely motivated to learn and have made tremendous progress this school year. They love to read and write and have started wanting to type and publish their stories! They look forward to hands-on activities during math and science.

My students deserve the best education possible and appreciate the support they receive from family, friends, and the community.

These students are going to make the future bright and amazing!

My Project

By providing my students these tools they will be able to improve their fluency and be able to read without sounding like a robot. The whisper phones make it so students can read out loud to themselves (it sounds like a whisper to me). The magnetic boards allow students to practice writing and give them the ability to participate in All Students Response activities without having to find a marker and eraser! The reading tracker eliminates distractions and allows my students to focus on the line they are currently reading.

These tools will help my students become confident and fluent readers!
