Has your cell phone battery ever died on you? It's a terrible feeling. All of that technology at the tip of your fingers and it's useless without a charged battery. The predicament in my classroom is similar. We use an interactive SMARTboard and it is worthless without a working bulb (lamp).

When I look at the eager faces of my students, I know they deserve the best education possible. By using an interactive SMARTboard in my classroom, I keep my students actively engaged in the lesson. They are thrilled to come up and show-off how tech-savvy they are.
My Project
The SMART board is the way of the future. Many schools have already taken down their traditional chalk boards and replaced them with innovative, interactive SMARTboards. Unfortunately, this amazing technology only works when it is partnered with a projector and the projector is useless without a working bulb (lamp).
This single item will provide my students with years of SAMRTboard use.
I have been using the same projector and lamp for 3 years and it is just now necessary to replace it. The lamp is the only item that wears out after prolonged use (as opposed to the SMARTboard, laptop and the projector itself). We will literally be left in the dark without a new lamp.
