My Project
I'm a special education resource teacher who enjoys interacting with students daily. With the new school year underway, iPads and computer carts are being distributed to grade levels to assist with blended learning strategies. For my small group of students, we, at times, get the leftover items that are not in the best of conditions.
I am attempting to build my small group technology resources for my students.
Between my school district and my school, we have been provided with subscriptions to many reading and math apps that support student instruction.
With the iPad, my students will be able to review supplemental material from the Really Great Reading and iReady app. This will give them the practice they need as we work together to address gaps in learning.
It is my goal to accumulate enough iPads for a successful rotation in my classroom in which half of my students can work with me, and the other half can work with learning apps. As a safety precaution, I have also included a protective case as well as one pair of headphones to eliminate unnecessary noise, allowing students to be able to focus!
