it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are experiencing their first year of school. They learn so much about themselves and others through play. We are lucky to live in an area with weather that allows us to play outdoors almost every day of the school year.
My students learn through play!
My students need foldable wagons, foldable chairs and label makers to explore science and math during our daily outdoor learning time. The label makers will help us label manipulatives and toys to keep track of materials. The wagons will be used to create science lessons on push and pull as we put our dolls and stuffies in them. Our foldable chairs will be used for Author and Show-and-Tell Chairs as we share our favorite stories and toys when the weather permits. In order to engage our students and activate their minds, we will use these resources to create hands-on learning opportunities. These lessons will help engage our students in academic learning and develop their gross motor skills along with the social emotional learning that goes on during play time outside.
