Help me give my students supplies they need to continue being successful this year including: pencils, crayons, dry erase markers, glue sticks, and scissors!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My 3rd grade students are a pretty phenomenal bunch . No matter how far I set the bar, so many of them somehow either exceed my expectations or aim to.
Many of my students love math and are ecstatic on science days.
They are so inquisitive and ask so many questions, which shows their eagerness to learn. Their are learning to make inferences and connect their learning to everyday life, thus learning the importance of their education.
Although many of them have faced an insurmountable amount of academic challenges these past two years they still remain cheerful and present. They are a really resilient bunch of kids who deserve all that I can give them and more.
My Project
The supplies we need to replenish will be put to use in our classroom almost daily, whether we are coloring and cutting out a science project, writing notes, or using our dry erase markers on whiteboards to check for understanding. Our current stash is running low, and our markers and glue sticks are drying out, forcing us to share them almost 1 stick to 3 students.
The supplies such as: pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue sticks will make a world of difference in maximizing our time learning.
It will allow each student the privilege and responsibility of their own supplies. My students are still making their way up to grade level, some more rapidly then others, due to the pandemic and circumstances they can't control.
These supplies would not be used at home, but kept in class so that they are always accessible to my students. Your donation to this project would truly aid us in our quest to get back on grade level and possibly beyond.
