My Students
I teach at an amazing school full of diversity. We have over seven hundred students and over one hundred are English as a second language students. One hundred are Advanced Program students, along with a robust regular education program and special needs program. We call ourselves "The Greatest School on Earth," and we truly are! I teach our Digital Learning Lab, where students not only learn computer skills, but they participate in project-based learning. I get to teach all of our amazing students, either in a group setting, small groups, or individually. I am blessed to teach all of our students!
I want all of the students that enter my room to have amazing experiences because they are amazing and exceptional students!
My Project
Now that our students have spent a year doing virtual learning, it's time to continue the learning in-person! Many of our student were using personal, home devices during virtual learning and now that we are back school, all of our students need access to a Chromebook here at school. The sharing of devices isn't feasible at this time, so I want to make sure that ALL OF MY STUDENTS have access to the digital learning that they have become accustomed to.
Having a class set of Chromebooks is my goal!
My students did so well during virtual learning and I want them to continue to use all the applications and programs they were able to master while at home. I know that with one-on-one instruction, their technology skills will soar.
My students will use these Chromebooks for reading on-line text, mastering math facts, to creating digital projects for science and social studies using Google Suite, and even digital art!
