This is the year when the magic will happen! I am so proud of all the students sticking in the program until we have the proper uniforms to represent our school. The next step to support our disciplined appearance is to look the part. The students will look sharp with matching white shoes.
My students come from across the entire city and have a wide range of musical backgrounds.
They are simply amazing! Not only do they make my job easier on a daily basis but they inspire me to be a better educator and human being. I truthfully am excited every single day I come into the band room. We are a school of champions full of the bright young minds for the future. This year has literally been the best year in my career.
My Project
We need 65 pairs white marching band shoes. The students will sport these at every upcoming performance. Every time we make an appearance they will be on our feet. Every basketball game, every football game next fall, every school performance, and every local parade, you will look down and they will be there.
We are trying to build our marching program into the powerhouse we expect it to be.
Last summer we were finally able to purchase used uniforms to outfit everyone in band. We now need the appropriate footwear to match our unified appearance.
