My Project
I have taught at the same school for the last twenty-one years. After many years of teaching kindergarten and first grade, this year I am embarking on a new adventure teaching second grade.
My second-grade students LOVE earning Dolphin Dollars and going to the Dolphin Dollar store.
Dolphin Dollars are our school's behavior incentive. Every time a staff member sees someone doing something good and working hard, students earn a Dolphin Dollar. About once a month, they can go to the Dolphin Dollar store and redeem all of their Dolphin Dollars. This is part of our school's PBIS plan and I also incorporate it into our class behavior system. My students love it and it does work for them! This project is for a variety of soccer balls, soccer games and nerf balls to add to the Dolphin Dollar Store. Kids love these kinds of toys so these are sure to be a hit and help them be incentivized to follow our school rules!
