My Students
My students are young men and young ladies who live in the "most dangerous" city in the US as well as being labeled one of the "highest poverty rates." They struggle daily in many ways to make it to school, but once they arrive they are ready to go. We have breakfast together and then we are off on our learning adventure for the day. My students come to school to learn. They have plans for college, and to reach those goals we push every day to overcome the struggles they face.
My Project
Our school uses Class Dojo to reward our students for making positive behavior choices and working very hard on their learning. We have so many donations and Donor Choose projects that we now need bins to organize all the goodies for when the students go shopping.
How wonderful is it to be rewarded for doing the right thing!
Our school does that and wants to continue to show our students we are proud of them. So as they earn points they can go to our store and buy pencils, water bottles, treats, and many other items. So please help us get organized in our school Dojo Store.
