Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting watercolor supplies and snacks to be donated to my classroom for the purpose of having students create colorful cards for families of critically ill children. The intention is to have students engage in a meaningful and creative activity that fulfills the SEL standard of "positively contributing to one's community".

This proposed project will support our local families who have children by bringing joy and comfort to them while they face the challenges of having critically ill children.

The watercolor supplies will enable the creation of vibrant and personalized cards, while snacks will contribute to a positive and collaborative atmosphere during the card-making process. This initiative aims to spread kindness, express gratitude, and provide a heartfelt gesture to those families undergoing difficult times.
