Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our last day of school was March 13th. We were given about two hours notice to pack up what we could and get our room cleaned before the end of the day. We were told that we would be back to school on April 14th after our two week Spring Break. We are going on our eighth week of not being at school.
Our school is a rural title 1 school with awesome students that want to do their best everyday and are working hard even during this time of distance learning.
My Project
My students are starting their eighth week of distance learning at home and are running low on supplies.
They are continuing to complete learning packets at home and will be needing rulers and sticky notes for math and the headphones that I have requested will be used to access some of their lessons online as some have picked up their Chromebooks this past week.
I have included some supplies that I will be using to send them fun items through the mail to keep them motivated and encouraged.
My students are working hard each and every day at home to keep their learning going despite being away from school.
