Dogfish for Dissection is Dope!

Help me give my students dogfish sharks for dissection to do a dissect-a-long with a visiting scientist!

My Project

My students have a wonderful opportunity to have scientists from Oregon State University dissect a dogfish shark live via Zoom. This scientist is an expert on dogfish and will teach them all the things about them!

This may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for my students to dissect a shark!

And I want to give them that chance.

We dissect a variety of specimens in our Physiology class and dogfish are truly unique! We will record our visiting scientist's dissection and follow along as a class when we have our own to do so with.

We really appreciate all the donations we have received that have given my students the materials and tools to have the best experience possible. There is nothing better than hands-on learning in science!
