This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Two brains are better than one? What about 25 brains? That's magic right? This document camera will encourage all my students to be fully engaged in lessons and work together.

Despite my best efforts to make my classroom an engaging place full of charts and pictures that relate to lessons, it often feels like some crucial link is missing.

Every day in my classroom, students learn by seeing examples and sharing ideas. I show them how to do things and they watch and help. They share their work and learn from each other. The problem arises when they can't all see what we are sharing.

My Project

My students need a document camera in our classroom in order to help them become better readers. They will be able to put their own writing up for the whole class to see and admire. Students will feel proud of their work and be able to collaborate as a class more easily.

This camera and projector will provide my students with the opportunity to share and work together in ways that aren't possible now.

We will all be able to see and succeed by collaborating.
