My Students
Do you remember struggling to see what the teacher was writing on the board? With an increased number of students in my class, student desks are being placed all over the room. It has become increasingly difficult to make sure everyone can see!
My students are eager learners.
They come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come to school knowing that this will be a safe place for them to learn and grow, which is unlike their home situations.
Our school tries to attend to all the different types of learners we have. We do our best to make sure everyone is healthy, happy, and given every opportunity to learn.
My Project
The Elmo TT-02 Rx document camera will allow my students to be able to see anything and everything we are working on in class. Currently our old projector does not zoom in tight enough for true definition of an object and it does not allow for color or any other important details when trying to teach. We have a ceiling mounted projector that the document camera will be able to be plugged into. Originally when our school was built we had a document camera, but over the years it broke and we went back to the old technology of the overhead projector. First graders need to see the teacher working as they should be working. It is important that the presentation of any and all activities looks as similar to what students have as possible.
