Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school where most of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are faced with many challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite their many challenges, my amazing class of 24 kindergarten students is eager to learn and explore.

My students are creative, curious, and motivated.

They are full of energy and deserve to have access to all the materials necessary to be successful. My goal is to ensure that my students have all the tools that they need in order to be successful in school.

My Project

My project is for a document camera to help my students while they learn remotely. This document camera will help my students understand concepts clearly online. They will be able to see what I'm writing into the camera in real time. This will help me model their letter formation onto primary paper for them to see it on their screen. I will be able to show them how count, add, and subtract using manipulatives.

This document camera will help enhance my lessons on Zoom.

With this product I will be able to show students documents that are not digital. I plan to use this camera to do read alouds with my students. I will be able to demonstrate the text to them live where they can see the illustrations. Thank you for your support.
