This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an amazing group of 4th graders who eagerly participate in learning every day! They are kind, energetic and hardworking. The students have different needs and learning styles. The school that I work in is a Title One, high needs, low income school.

I want to make sure that my students will be able to learn and do their best, even if they have to do it from home.

This year I will be teaching remotley and will be needing tools that will help my students learn.

My Project

Help me give my students an improved remote learning experience with a document camera. I will use this tool to model reading skills and math strategies for my students even when we cannot be together in the classroom.

The Document Camera will allow me to demonstrate how to solve problems step by step.

The MacBook Pro Adapter will allow me to plug in the document camera to my laptop. Students will be able to follow along as I model how to solve math problems.

I will also be able to show students pages from a book by projecting the pages to my laptop while I am teaching live.
