My Project

Desktop easels would be an excellent learning resource. In 2nd grade, we are learning different strategies in reading, writing, and math. These various strategies help us to develop a toolkit that we can use in order to become successful. The desktop flip charts allow for these strategies to be readily available at each table for students to reference. For example, when we learn a strategy to solve a math skill. I would like to have this chart readily available and displayed on their desks every time they solve a problem, so they can refer back to the skill and how to use the strategy.

Document Camera

A document camera would offer my 2nd graders an opportunity to have a closer look at various tools to support learning. The camera would allow me to share work samples in all subject areas. In addition, a document camera would allow students to closely observe materials for our science units. This camera would allow me to walk students through my process for solving problems and organizing my ideas in writing.
