This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are thoughtful, inquisitive, and creative! Each one of them has a real passion for learning. Many of them come to school each day with a smile on their face, ready to tackle the challenges that the day presents. And they truly do, they are very hard working.

Sometimes, classroom supplies and technology are scarce which limits our educational possibilities.

Our school is located in a low-income area. Many children lack the basic necessities at home and at school.

My Project

Having a document camera in our classroom would make it much easier for students who are visual learners, or have vision problems to see the worksheets we are going over as a class. It also helps students focus because they can see the image much larger than on the piece of paper.

With this document camera, my students will be able to see and learn better.

Not only can it be used for worksheets and workbooks, but for story books as well. My students love listening to stories and the pictures will be much easier for everyone to see using the document camera.
