My students need a document camera to view student and teacher work as well as a storage cart to hold our reading station materials.
This project expired on January 11, 2016.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
At the end of the school year, my goal is to have created a class of lifetime-learners that will be able to go on and make their future goals a reality.
I teach a group of diverse, hard-working third graders that love coming to school every day.
Although I have many different levels of learners in my classroom, I hold every single one of them to high standards. My goal is to give them everything I can to improve the quality of education I am providing.
Picture this: I have just complimented a student for the awesome story they have just written. Instead of ending there, I take the piece of writing and place it under the document camera. Now, all students can actually SEE this exemplar work! So motivating!
Having a document camera in our classroom for daily lessons will take everything small and turn it big! I will be able to solve math problems on the same paper students are looking at. I will be able showcase student's work, where the class will have the opportunity to see their work projected in real-time. The students will be able to see a projected version the book I am reading aloud. The opportunities are endless and I cannot wait to introduce this piece of technology to my students!
Having a document camera will make a tremendous difference in my classroom.
Although it sounds simple, projecting different items for all of my students to see, will make learning easier and more fun!!
