My Students

My students are an enthusiastic, friendly, and diverse group of kids. What makes my school so special is that the students come together from various cultures and perspectives to create a warm and positive environment.

Our classroom is a family of diverse personalities, cultures, and learning styles.

Together, we strive to respect and care for one another. Many students are English learners, and some students come from low income families. Together, we create a family who strive to grow and learn together.

My Project

My students can benefit from a document camera in our classroom. There are many ways this useful technology will be used to teach and engage with all students.

A document camera in our classroom can enhance all lessons from math and science to art and movement.

Some examples in ways that a document camera can be used include modeling math lessons with manipulatives. Both interactive reading and writing can also be supported with a document camera. The students love to come up and write their own ideas to share for all to see. Another special use this camera can be used is by linking my laptop to fun and interactive web sites such a GoNoodle or Story Online.

By bringing technology in my classroom, I can engage all learners through different ways of using the document camera.
