Help me give my students a document camera and a drawing mat so we can draw step by step together!

My Project

While explaining how to draw something step by step to younger students, I often go to the white board in class and draw it very large that way. If it is a technique other than drawing, then I have to go table by table to explain the process we are completing, or have a large group try and lean in to see what I'm doing. This takes up valuable class time that I could be focusing on individual students or going even more in depth on a topic as a class.

If I had a document camera, I could sit facing the class and continue to watch them as we create together.

Facing the class would help me to watch reactions as we draw, see when students get confused and immediately see when a hand is raised for questions. It also would help to cut down on the occasional mischief that may happen while the teacher's back is turned!

Everything could be shown in more detail, not just drawing. I could show water color techniques, sculpting methods and so much more, all while the students are sitting in their seats.
