My Students
Students come from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, representative of New York City. Their various races and backgrounds give the school a vibrant feel of the culture. Students are diverse learners who require different learning styles to accommodate their needs. Within the school day, students are diving into many strategies to master skills, discussing with their peers and participating in many extra-curricular activities. Students are building class charters that they use as a foundation of how they want to feel and the actions they will take forth. All to build on the foundation of kindness and gentleness.
My Project
These resources will give students an at school experience at home. With the document camera I will be able to show them my writing and math work in real time. In addition the teacher resource will guide to better prepare my lessons for online learning. Remote teaching has been like the first year of teaching all over again and using these resources at home for my students will give them the same quality education they would get in the classroom. With everything revolving around tech it gives the students to see my handwriting, my thinking and me flipping through a book.
