This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I truly enjoy working with my students and seeing the hard work, and resiliency these students have regardless of what their situation is outside of school. I work with low income families/students, who don't ask for much. As much as their families would love to give to their children they don't always have the money to do so. What I see with these students is that they give up a lot to try and be there for their parents whether it is missing school to babysit or going out and working with their families. I would like to be able to show these students that the hard work they are doing is worth something and to reinforce that good behavior.
