This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are challenged with disabilities and our school is an occupational training center where we teach them many of the life skills needed for life. In particular some professions such as cooking.
Our scholars are very functioning and willing to learn how to cook for themselves and as a profession, so having a convection oven will have a direct impact on their learning.
Among the things we cook are brownies, croissants, danishes and a convection oven will aloud us to produce professional grade pastries.
