Many of my students are on different levels of math and need differentiated lessons to get them on grade level or push them forward in the curriculum. I have audacious goals this year for each and every student and the students are ready to show what they can do.
My students have made big gains in math in the past, but with the change in curriculum and testing they took a hefty hit.
Within the next few weeks students will find out their scores from last years standardized test. At this point approximately 25% of the students are on grade level. This might be a big blow to students confidence.
My students need headphones to listen to lessons out loud without interrupting or distracting each other. These ear buds are instrumental in giving each student the personalized instruction they will need. Currently students have to share a class set of head phones for the entire school. Often my students don't have their own, so they must play the lesson out loud, which distracts the next student working on a different lesson.
My goal this year is to increase student proficiency by 35%, but without proper equipment to use for Online learning it will be much more difficult to grow all of the students from their current level of proficiency.
These ear buds will allow students to comfortably work on their level without distractions and the ridicule of working on lesson below the current grade level.
