I have seventh grade students for a reading class and students in grades 9-12 for study hall and online Spanish classes. Students grades 7-12 are in and out of the library on a daily basis doing research for projects and checking out books for their reading enjoyment.
Our school has many students who truly enjoy reading!
It is a joy to watch students read books creating a relationship with the characters. It is thrilling to hear them say I should really read a certain book or hear them recommend a book to a classmate.
Our library currently has the first three of the Joe Pickett series of books by author C. J. Box. There are fifteen more books in this series that I would like to add to our collection.
Students enjoy reading series of books following a certain character through his or her adventures.
Joe Pickett is a game warden solving mysteries creating thrilling plots in the novels. Our student body includes many students who enjoy hunting and a good mystery making the Joe Pickett books popular.
Adding these new titles will be a great asset to our high school library, and our students will enjoy reading them.
