This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 2nd graders are sweet, creative, caring, and funny! They are hard workers and always try their personal best. Every single day, they are happy and excited to be back in school. I love going to work daily and helping them grow academically.
My Project
My 2nd graders will soon be working on biographies. This is a fun time in and out of the classroom because they get to research and use multiple resources to learn about a famous person. This year, they will get to choose a famous person, dress up, and present virtually! We are excited and can't wait! I have a couple of I Am books by Brad Meltzer in our classroom library and they are truly hungry for more.
