My students need a "U" shaped table to sit at when we are doing small group instruction.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Parsh's classroom raised $483

My Students
Have you ever sat at a dining room table full of 10 or more people? Think about if you could hear what was happening at the other end of the table.
My students are low income students who come to school every day to work hard and learn in a city school.
They have these fantastic new desks, but all of the other furniture in their classroom is old and outdated. I have nowhere for them to sit besides their desks and a large rug.
My Project
When I need to work with a small group of students, it is sometimes difficult to access them. The students may be spread out around the room, and it feels the same as a large dining table. A student on one end of the room isn't able to hear and benefit from something that I'm teaching to a student on the other side of the room. A "U" shaped table would be a perfect meeting spot for a small group of students.
Your donation would make a huge difference in my ability to access students in a different way.
The students would be able to access myself, each other, and the information they need by sitting at a "U" shaped table.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
