This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of us got to experience performing music on stage in our elementary years. Now more than ever, general music education is proving to be vital in the academic and social-emotional growth of our young students. In my music class, I see students growing out of their shells to create music in community, especially in our Band and Choir ensembles.

Our students will have more opportunities to shine in the spotlight with this new microphone system.

Their self-confidence can only flourish on stage, whether they are performing solos, MCing a concert, introducing performers, or acting in a musical - help me make their voices heard!
