This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are primarily pre-k to second graders with a wide range of disabilities. They love and thrive on opportunities for hands on projects. In school, arts and craft projects make a huge difference in their participation.

My goal is to help my students develop their fine motor skills while doing fun arts and crafts projects.

I am a firm believe that you learn by doing. And these tools will allow my students to use hands on learning to create something that they can be proud of.

These tools will allow them to engage in “Do It Yourself” DIY projects for making tote bags, visors, and their own gift bags.
