My Students
My students are constantly seeking new ways to create music. In order to allow students to further their exploration, we need new drumsticks for students to incorporate and use during class and performances, new violin strings to replace old and broken ones, adjustable shoulder rests to help develop proper violin technique, and rosin for all students to use on their violin, viola, cello, and bass bows!
Music allows my students to express themselves creatively as individuals and as a team.
In music class, my students explore singing, playing instruments, empowering their own voices. As the music program expands, I would love for all of my students to continue having the necessary materials they need to learn and make music!
My Project
With shoulder rests, my students will be able to enjoy learning how to play these instruments individually and as part of an ensemble with the proper technique. Shoulder rests are essential for each violin student, at every stage of learning! With rosin, my students will be able to make sure their bows will play with sound on the violin, viola, cello, and bass. New strings will be able to replace old, broken strings for more students to play instruments! Drumsticks will allow for my students to make music in a new, creative ways! my students will be able to play these instruments again and be a part of the ensemble!
Playing an instrument with the proper learning materials and being part of an ensemble are unique opportunities that I want my students to have as they continue to grow as musicians.
