My Project
Depending on student learning styles, some struggle fully understanding the structure of DNA. Understanding DNA structure is necessary for students to grasp overarching concepts of genetics, reproduction, etc. that builds throughout the school year.
Having models available allows a hands-on learning opportunity to see and feel the parts of DNA & how they are connected.
With this model they are able to further their understanding of how DNA is used within cells by being able to manipulate the pieces of each model. Being able to see how these things happen gives students more of a realistic understanding of the concept.
