My Project

The specific items I am requesting will allow the students to make improvements and grow their dance technique. The equipment will be utilized in ways that isolate certain muscle groups, will bring attention to muscles that students didn't even know existed, and will help students reach their goals in dance class.

A few examples are the Pilates balls will be used to work our core, our legs, and even our arms during our turns.

The resistance bands will be used to work on exercises for the articulation of the feet, used for upper body workouts, and lower body work outs. For recovery, the lacrosse balls will be used to roll out the dancer's feet after a difficult practice or even help roll out a larger muscle group!

My dancers are such hard workers and have grown so much during this first year as a new department! I would live to be able to provide them with the materials needed to help them grow and stay motivated to continue dancing for years to come!

Ms. Loving will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 29.
