My Students

In many urban communities, funding is low for school field trips. Learning about conservation and how to protect our planet has inspired many of my students. The Birch Aquarium and nearby beach is just in our backyard and we would love a chance to visit and learn from their conservation efforts.

My students are dedicated to their development as lifelong learners and global leaders.

At our school, our students have learned that they have the power to change their future and make a difference in the global community. My students are beginning to see themselves as community activists. They commit themselves to taking accountability for their education and work diligently each day to better the world they live in. They are using resources within the classroom to learn about our planet. However, they would benefit greatly by seeing the work in action. They are in need of this visit to the Birch Aquarium. The visit will aid them in grasping the concept of global change and will inspire them to dive deeper into their current understanding of our Earth.

My Project

The Birch Aquarium and beach field trip I have requested will provide my students with this opportunity to learn from other field experts. They can ask environmentalists questions, read about endangered species, and enjoy the exhibits at the aquarium. My students will be able to each have the opportunity to challenge themselves and fit what they have learned into a real life situation. The wide selection of exhibits will allow for choice and inspiration for my students. Your generous donations to our project will influence the lives of my students. With your support and contribution, my students will be able to manage their own learning and thinking. They will begin to successfully and confidently navigate this concept of global responsibility. They will be able to focus on understanding content while enjoying an engaging day at the Birch Aquarium.

Your donation to this project will influence all of my students.

They are an eager classroom ready to dive into the lives of conservationists, environmentalists, and community activists. Please help support our love for learning and our trip to the Birch Aquarium!
