This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am starting my fifth year teaching and am adding in a new content. I want to make sure that I have a comprehensive plan for incorporating cooperative work time and independent practice. I want to make sure I am familiar with multiple ways to explain the standards for students to comprehend. I hope to be able to create a standard for teaching Algebra that can carry over into the sciences, especially Chemistry, so that there is consistency in the vocabulary used and techniques taught to aid in student success with these topics.
