it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The objective of the OGI Certification Program is to support educators in honing their skills and becoming expert teachers and interventionists for all students, particularly those who struggle with achieving literacy skills, including students with dyslexia.
The certification program provides intensive support for those educators through Yoshimoto-Orton Gillingham International training, observations, feedback, and materials that reflect the Science of Reading and scaffold their success with all students including those who struggle and/or have dyslexia.
As a result of completing this Orton-Gillingham International certification program, educators will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support and remediate students struggling with reading, writing, and spelling, including those diagnosed with dyslexia. Trained and certified educators will be a part of our community to support their ongoing success. We recognize that each student - adult or child -- has unique needs and understand that it "takes a village" to ensure success on both ends of the equation. Our commitment is to support our participants in achieving the level of success required to meet the needs of their students.
