My Project
I work in a D75 school in Brooklyn New York where all of the students have Individualized Education Plans. I share a small therapy room with other therapists. I plan to use these dividers to separate our shared therapy space so that each student can focus and be present in their therapy session.
Our students are highly distracted and these dividers will help the students maintain attention and focus on the task at hand.
Without these dividers, the students I am working with can see other students working and this decreases their attention to our speech tasks as they are looking around the room at other students.
