This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Diversity, tolerance, and inclusivity are concepts that are of the utmost importance in my classroom. They are a major part of learning. That is why I have picked these banned books and wall hangings to fill my classroom.

The books and wall hangings that I have picked for my students will help them feel seen, heard, and loved.

Most of my students fit into the categories written about in these books. When students feel accepted, understood, and loved they are more likely to open up and participate in their classes.
