Help me give my students multicultural dolls. Our students need to see themselves and others in dramatic play.

My Students
Our Norfolk, Virginia PreK students are amazing and resilient! We are located in a dedicated military town. All students have risk factors that qualify them for our program. I see the sparkle in their eyes when they login to the computer. Distance teaching is challenging, but with hands-on materials, we can help them thrive!
My Project
Our Pre-K students love to play with a variety of dolls. Dramatic play is a way for children to role play real life situations that they see or imagine. As children choose which materials they want to play with, it is important that diversity is the norm with our materials and toys.
When children play with dolls, it is important that they see themselves and others as they interact.
What better way than to start the beginning of their school career as an inclusive group of friends pretending together with diverse dolls!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
