This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to acquire children's books about diversity. Picture books that teach acceptance and that are easy to read and understand for my second graders. I also would like a color printer and ink to help with posters, worksheets, and booklets about diversity and kindness.
These books will celebrate diversity, teach acceptance, to be kind to those who are different, to love themselves the way they are, and boost self-confidence.
These books will also help them understand diversity, self-love, and to follow their dreams, and make a difference in the world, because diversity is beautiful. For these reasons, I am requesting these children's books. I am also asking for a color printer and ink to help create posters, worksheets, and booklets about acceptance and diversity.
