This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will provide more diversity in reading for my students. The library in our classroom is a place that my students love to go to. My students enjoy reading on the carpet, bean bag chairs, and the rest of our flexible seating. My students enjoy reading throughout the day.
With these new books, my students will be able to read about people and characters that look like them.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds. These books will give my students a chance to see themselves in a story.
