I operate a FOCUS preschool classroom with my helpful assistant Ms. Bond. Our program's priority is to ensure quality, creative moments are created for students to learn from and develop fine motor, gross motor and appropriate social skills. Our students from Ramah, Navajo & Zuni are ready to learn, discover, and explore.
They find joy in reading (picture walking) books, drawing and painting pictures, building structures, and play all day!
They are developing a love for letters and their sounds and we love to see the progress they are making each day!
My Project
As a school that is beautiful as diverse, its important that we remind students that all colors, shapes and sizes are what makes us who we are. With these items we will be able to help our students learn about themselves and the environment.
With the multicultural craft materials provided we will make projects that reflect the students unique backgrounds.
Often times we only have so many colors to choose from. With the multicultural craft packages we can fully execute our “about me,” unit plan and really unleash our self pride.
Our kids love hearing a diverse collection of stories, and with November being the month of giving thanks, we see this as a chance to enlighten our students with kindness and representation.
The other items will be used to assist our teaching team in creating, and planning for our lessons. It’s vital that we have what we need to supply our classroom with the best we can offer!
So please, help us find this project and we will post plenty of pictures of what our students made and how the unit progressed, thank you very much!
