Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a range of diverse backgrounds that makes them very unique. They come from single or parents working 2 - 3 jobs at a time, that makes my students mature from their young lives. My kids teach me life lessons that will be forever ingrained in my mind.

My Project

Just by looking at these books brings me so much joy and I will be able to share the joy with my kids this year! This will enhance their creativity, being able to relate to these characters, and have a glimpse into other cultures. These books will also be used in various lessons in language arts and in history. This will also be helpful for them to see a mirror image of their own families and background. The books will be on display for them every month and by you funding this project they will have the opportunity to be exposed to these wonderful books!
