Help me give my students books that focus on dealing with adverse emotions and diversity. My students are facing changes not just in educational expectations but dealing with their own feelings and differences among individuals.

My Students
My students are a very diverse group of individuals. Some have had great success throughout the years, while some have faced great adversity.
My job is to reinvigorate their interest in education, while pushing others to think more critically.
My students grow up in homes with very few resources and face many challenges on a daily basis. I want my classroom to be a place with multiple resources including means for the use of technology. I want to make school a place where my students desire to come and learn!
My Project
As early teenagers, my students often face many challenges. Not only in their educational lives but in their personal lives. These books will help then to understand diversity among individuals and help my students to understand they are not alone in how they are feeling at times.
Using literature to connect to real life challenges is a passion of mine and my co-teacher.
We love to take text to teach life lessons to help develop our students for their futures.
We also complete "Book clubs" in my class in which students read in small groups and it is very useful to have multiple copies of the same text, so each student can hold the text and follow along as reading is taking place.
